How parents register

The registration steps on a phone, what parents see, and what happens next.

The parent (or an adult participant) selects "Register" on the activity page and goes through the steps:

  1. Choose a date: only when there is a real choice, that is a single session, event or trial with more than one upcoming date. With one date it is picked automatically. A course covers all its sessions and a weekly class always all the remaining sessions of the term, so they skip this step. A weekly class whose term end is not set yet is closed for registration ("Registration opens soon").
  2. Contact: name, email and phone. "Registered before?" emails a code; then children registered earlier can be picked.
  3. Participants: name, birth date and relation. Age limits are checked on the session date.
  4. Details: only when the activity has extra fields.
  5. Health declaration: only when the activity has one. See Health declarations: who sees what, the access log, retention.
  6. Terms: the full cancellation policy and terms, to accept.
  7. Summary: the price, sibling discount, a coupon code, then pay (or confirm, when free).

For a weekly class the summary lists every remaining session until the end of the term and the term price. A late joiner sees the pro-rated price (for example 4 of 6 sessions).

Seats are held for 15 minutes from submitting, to pay in that time. Refreshing the page keeps what was filled in.

After registering

  • A confirmation page and email with every session, the place, what to bring and a calendar invite (changes and cancellations update the same event).
  • Email reminders a day and two hours before each session (Settings → notifications). WhatsApp comes later.
  • The personal area: sign-in by email, no password. It shows sessions, registrations, declarations and credits, creates a family calendar link and sends a cancellation request to the business.

You see registrations under "Registrations" in the menu: status, payment, participants and activity.
