Payments and the payment connection
Money goes straight to the business's own payment account, or by Bit directly to the business. Where the connection stands today.
Each business has its own payment account. Classo Club only opens the provider's payment page and receives its confirmation: it never touches the money and takes no fee. The receipt comes from the business's payment provider.
Status today
The first connection is Grow (Meshulam). It is built from Grow's documentation and has not yet been tested against a real account. Until then, the test provider (not real) is for demos and testing only and charges nothing. Want to take payments? Contact us and we will connect you.
Connect (owner)
- Settings → Payments.
- Choose the provider and enter the connection details (Grow: user ID and page code).
- Test mode uses the provider's sandbox. Save.
The details are stored encrypted and only their last 4 characters are shown. An empty field keeps the stored value.
Without a connected payment account (or Bit, below) you can't take payments. Free activities work as usual.
At checkout
The parent goes to the provider's payment page and picks the number of installments there (up to the activity's maximum). A registration is confirmed only when the payment confirmation arrives. A payment that arrives after the seats ran out is flagged on the home page under "needs attention".
Bit payment (manual)
You can take Bit payments without a payment provider. The parent registers, the registration is confirmed at once and the spot is kept, and the parent pays the business in the Bit app themselves. The confirmation page, the email and the personal area show the amount, the Bit number (with a copy button), the payee name and what to write in the Bit note (the participant's name and the activity).
A Bit payment goes directly to the business. Classo Club never moves, holds or checks the money: it only shows the details and keeps what the business marked.
- Settings → Payments → "Bit payment (manual)" (owner).
- Tick "Bit payment (manual)", enter the mobile number linked to Bit and, if you like, a payee name and short instructions for parents. Save the Bit settings.
- With a payment provider too, the parent chooses on the summary between paying online and Bit.
Marking it paid (owners and managers)
On the registration's page, under "Mark payment", choose "Paid" or "Not paid", type the amount received in shekels (it may be less or more than the amount due) and whether it came by Bit or manually (cash, a transfer). Any registration can be marked, also one that didn't choose Bit. Who marked it and when is kept, and marking again replaces it. Instructors can't change a payment.
The registrations list shows each registration's payment method, the amount due, how much was paid and a "Paid", "Partly paid" or "Not paid" tag, with a summary above it such as "3 haven't paid · ₪450 open" and a link to those registrations.
