Seasonal businesses
Seasonal business? In winter you pay ₪19 a month, not full price
A surf school, a summer camp, sailing, riding, outdoor workshops. Your season is strong for a few months and then slows down. With Classo Club you freeze the business for winter, pay ₪19 a month, and everything you built waits for next season.
Open a business for freeWhy a regular subscription doesn't fit a seasonal business
Most registration software is built for a gym that's open all year. The subscription is monthly, the price is fixed, and July is no different from January.
But your January looks different. No courses, no registrations, and still the charge goes out. The other option is to cancel, and then in spring you start from scratch: a new page, new activities, and the history gone.
We think a seasonal business shouldn't have to choose.
How the seasonal freeze works
Open your settings
On the "Seasonal freeze" card, select "Freeze the business". That's it.
Your page stays up
Visitors see your activities and a "registration closed for the season" notice, with no register button. Customers know you're coming back.
Nothing is deleted
Registrations, participants, declarations, credits and instructors are kept. No new registrations come in and reminders pause.
Pay ₪19 a month
Instead of your plan's full price. You can freeze up to 5 months a year, and the freeze card shows how many months you've used.
Season's back? Unfreeze
Select "Unfreeze", update your dates and publish. Registration reopens at once.
What it costs
| Plan | Price | What's included |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | Free | One activity, up to 30 registrations a month |
| Basic | ₪89 | Unlimited activities, up to 200 registrations a month, up to 2 instructors |
| Pro | ₪169 | Unlimited instructors and registrations |
| Seasonal freeze | ₪19 | For any paid plan, up to 5 months a year |
No setup fee and no commitment. An example: a surf school on Basic that runs for 7 months and freezes for 5 pays ₪89 in the season months and ₪19 in winter.
During the season too
Cancel a session with credit
Rain, a rough sea or a heatwave. Cancel a session in one click; everyone gets an email and a calendar update, and every participant gets a make-up credit.
Classes by term
A weekly class with an end date for the season. Late joiners pay only for the remaining sessions.
Trial lessons
A trial lesson at the start of the season, linked to the course it leads to.
Declarations that carry over
Next season, a family that verified its email and has a declaration of the same version from the last 12 months confirms it instead of filling it in again.
End of season, step by step
Finish the last sessions
A weekly class ends on the term end date you set. After the last session there's nothing to close by hand.
Check open credits
Registrations show who still has a credit from cancellations during the season. Book it into a last session, or let it carry over to next season, according to the expiry you set.
Check who hasn't paid
Above the registrations list there's a summary of who hasn't paid and how much is open, with a link straight to those registrations.
Freeze
Settings, "Seasonal freeze", "Freeze the business". From then on your page shows that registration is closed for the season, and reminders stop.
And at the start of next season
Unfreeze and open a new term for your class or a new series for your course. The page, logo, instructors and activities are already there. Nothing to rebuild.
Families from last season come back quickly. When registering they get a code by email and pick the children they registered before. If they have a health declaration of the same version from the last 12 months, they confirm it and sign again, without filling it all in.
And if the sea or the weather is still unsettled early in the season, cancelling a session with a credit is one click.
Who the freeze is for
What they all share: there are months with no registrations, but the business isn't closed. It's just waiting for the season. Customers still look you up, visit your page and want to know when you're back. While frozen they find a live page, with your activities and a clear notice that registration is closed for the season.
- Surf, sailing, kitesurf and diving schools that work mainly from spring to autumn.
- Summer and holiday camps that run a few weeks a year and then rest.
- Outdoor workshops, tours and riding, which depend on the weather.
- Classes that follow the school year and stop for the summer.
- Independent instructors taking a few months off, who don't want to lose their page and their customer list.
Good to know about the freeze
The goal is simple: winter shouldn't cost you what summer does, and in spring you open the season where you left off.
- The freeze covers the whole business, not one activity. If one of your activities runs through winter, keep the business open.
- While frozen, no new registrations come in, including private lessons and trial lessons.
- You and your team can still sign in, see registrations, mark payments and prepare the next season.
- Health declarations are still deleted on the retention period you set, freeze or not.
- Up to 5 months in a calendar year. The freeze card shows how many months you've used, so you can plan winter ahead.
Frequently asked questions
How much does the freeze cost?
₪19 a month before VAT, for any paid plan, up to 5 months a year. A month counts if the business was frozen on at least one day of it. Subscription billing isn't live yet, so for now the freeze costs nothing; its price switches on with billing.
What do customers see while I'm frozen?
Your page and activities, with a "registration closed for the season" notice and no register button.
Is my data kept during the freeze?
Yes. Registrations, participants, credits and settings are kept. Health declarations are deleted only according to the retention period you set, as always.
Can I freeze in the middle of a month?
Yes, freeze and unfreeze any time. Just note that a month counts toward the 5 if the business was frozen on any day of it.
I'm on the free plan. Do I need to freeze?
You don't have to. The free plan costs nothing in winter either. The freeze helps when you want your page to show clearly that registration is closed for the season.
What happens to participants' credits during the freeze?
They're kept. Their expiry follows the credit expiry setting, in months. If you left it empty, credits never expire and you can book them next season.
Let winter be winter.
